Hi was delighted to hear of an Australian forum for soapers via FreshCut soapCo on facebook..........Hi and thanks :0).
I am Lyn I have been making candles since the Ark floated :0) and have been soaping for three years now and I am a total soap addict I still walk past the drying rack and sniff soaps I have sniffed a thousand times before LOL.
I don't have a true website but have just set up a bigcartel site that is still a work in progress and I have an Etsy store and afraid to admit I am also a bit of facebook junkie Embarassed . I would love to soap full time but alas work full time (well 4 10hr nightshifts a week) so it feels full time :0) and rely on that income too much. I have done one market and I am booked to do the poppyseed market that is up and coming in October...............Oh and I also have the lovely Liesa from handmade heaven stocking my soaps as well :0).
That is about it between work soaping and family (two children) there are no more hours left in the day to indulge in any other hobbies Very Happy
I look forward to being a part of this forum and getting to know other Aussie soapers a little more Very Happy Lyn

Hi Lyn, welcome to the forum!

I have to say, I'm a bit of a facebook junkie too. You'll have to post links for your stores, so we can check out your stuff! (did I mention that you're more than welcome to advertise yourself on this forum?).
I know where you're at with the work/small business balance.. I have two boys, work 3 days per week and also run a small web business selling nappies. Soaping is mostly just a "time out" for me, although I'd love to develop my skill to the level of some of you long term soapers. Looking forward to getting to know you better!

    Cheers,

    Ally.
