    Hi
    I am from South Africa.I normally make gel hand cleaner. I also make soap CP.Now the question is what is the purpose if any when you add Kerosene to your mechanics soap as it will also evaporate like the excess water .ever used a fire lighter that has been out in the open does not work all kerosene is gone

    Sorry but I have never heard of kerosene being used in soap recipes
